PARAMETA Collaborates with GREENERY to Build a 'Certified Emission Reductions Fractional Investment Platform'

 

Seoul, March 14, 2023 – ‘Web3 Enabler’ PARAMETA Corp. (formerly ICONLOOP, CEO JH Kim) announced its collaboration with GREENERY (CEO Hwang Yoo-sik), which operates ‘POPLE’, the first ‘Voluntary Carbon Reduction Credits Trading Platform’ in Korea, to build a ‘Certified Emission Reductions Fractional Investment Platform’ and to promote the voluntary carbon markets (VCMs).

PARAMETA and GREENERY will collaborate on the issuance and distribution of STOs (security tokens) necessary for building the ‘Certified Emission Reductions Fractional Investment Platform’ and conduct joint research on infrastructure and technology. Both companies expect to create opportunities for more individuals to contribute to the carbon-neutral era through this platform, applying STO to the carbon credit investment field that has been difficult for individuals to access.

The platform will be jointly developed based on PARAMETA's ‘Parameta S (STO as a Service)’, which provides API-based STO technologies, and GREENERY's expertise and technology in the carbon-neutral field.

GREENERY, which collaborates with PARAMETA, is a company that provides various solutions for carbon neutrality, supporting corporate and individual carbon-neutral activities through ‘POPLE(www.pople.kr)’ while taking the lead in promoting investment culture in new carbon-neutral technologies.

Both companies plan to actively cooperate in various aspects of voluntary carbon markets, such as the carbon credit business, to promote voluntary carbon markets in the future.
