PARAMETA Registers Korea’s First Blockchain Wallet & ID Service on Public Procurement Platform

Seoul, October 28, 2025 — Web3 enabler PARAMETA announced that its core digital identity service, MyID 2.0, has officially been listed on the Korea Public Digital Service Marketplace (Digital Mall), the government’s cloud procurement platform operated by PPS (Public Procurement Service).
MyID 2.0 is a blockchain-based digital identity and wallet infrastructure tailored for public sector adoption. Designed as a plug-and-play SaaS solution, it allows public institutions to deploy blockchain services—including DID-based authentication, blockchain wallet, PDS (Personal Data Store), and BFS (Blockchain File System)—within just one week, with no additional infrastructure setup required.
- DID (Decentralized Identifier): Secure, blockchain-based digital ID
Wallet: Manage assets, credentials, and authentication records
PDS: User-controlled personal data management
BFS: Blockchain-enhanced file system built on top of IPFS
Among these, BFS was independently developed by PARAMETA under the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT’s blockchain R&D initiative, "Blockchain Technology for the Data Economy."
The blockchain wallet component is tightly integrated with DID, allowing users to manage digital credentials, assets, and records securely. This architecture supports a wide range of real-world use cases—such as citizen cards, digital certificates, access passes, and local stablecoins—making it highly scalable for smart city and e-government applications.
By leveraging MyID 2.0, local governments can easily issue stablecoin-based local currencies using the existing DID and wallet infrastructure, without needing additional development. It also lays the groundwork for compliance with upcoming stablecoin regulations.
To be listed on the Digital Mall, SaaS products must meet rigorous standards, including CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program) certification, operational reliability, and public usability. PARAMETA received Korea’s first CSAP certification for a blockchain service in May 2025, enabling this historic registration.
MyID 2.0 has also been adopted in the Busan EV Battery Passport pilot project. There, PARAMETA is implementing a decentralized data space that combines DID, PDS, and verifiable credentials to support full lifecycle management and regulatory compliance under the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) mandate.
🗨️ “With this Digital Mall registration, we’ve significantly lowered the barriers for public adoption of blockchain technology,” said Jonghyup Kim, CEO of PARAMETA. “We’re committed to accelerating digital transformation in the public sector through trustworthy and scalable Web3 infrastructure.”
For service inquiries or procurement, MyID 2.0 is now available on the Digital Service Marketplace (https://digitalmall.g2b.go.kr) by searching “Myid 2.0”, or by visiting PARAMETA’s official website (https://www.parametacorp.com).
