Seoul, November 28, 2018 \u2014 ICONLOOP is honored to receive the Korean\u00a0\u2018<\/strong>Minister of Science and ICT (MSIT)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Award\u2019 in recognition of its contributions to the development and popularization<\/strong>\u00a0of the blockchain industry in Korea. The award ceremony took place on the 27th at the \u20182018 Blockchain Grand Week\u2019 held at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is a great accomplishment to ICONLOOP to be awarded as the\u00a0first blockchain company to receive this honor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ICONLOOP is known for its work on the ICON Project<\/strong><\/mark>, which is one of the most successful Korean public blockchain projects.\u00a0<\/mark>Additionally, ICONLOOP has presented various enterprise use-cases, earning a reputation as one of the leading blockchain firms in Korea since its establishment in May 2016.<\/p>\n

ICONLOOP continues to make efforts to popularize blockchain technology through giving educational lectures and presentations. ICONLOOP was selected to participate in \u2018Cultivating Innovative Youth Talents 2018<\/a>\u2019 supervised by Korea Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and Korea Institute for Information & Communications Technology Promotion (IITP), and provided educational programs including technology lectures on its internally developed blockchain engine \u2018loopchain\u2019, mentoring, and hands-on training.<\/p>\n
