PARAMETA’s “MyID 2.0” Becomes the First Blockchain Service to Obtain CSAP Certification under the K-BTF Demonstration Project

SEOUL, May 12, 2025 — PARAMETA Corp. (CEO Jonghyup Kim), a leading Web3 Enabler, announced that its “MyID 2.0”, developed under the K-BTF (Korea Blockchain Trust Framework) public-sector blockchain demonstration project, has officially become the first blockchain service to obtain CSAP (Cloud Security Assurance Program) certification.

CSAP certification — jointly managed by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) — is a mandatory security standard for introducing cloud-based services in Korea’s public sector. To qualify, a service must meet strict criteria for information protection, physical security, and operational management.
The certification of MyID 2.0 marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time a blockchain service has received CSAP accreditation, affirming both the security and institutional reliability of blockchain technology for government use.

A Subscription-Based Blockchain Infrastructure for Public Agencies

MyID 2.0 serves as the core DID (Decentralized Identifier) component within the K-BTF shared infrastructure project, spearheaded by the MSIT and KISA.
It enables public institutions to implement blockchain-based identity services within one week, without building separate blockchain infrastructure — leveraging a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) subscription model.

Traditionally, deploying DID or blockchain services required months of development and budgets in the hundreds of millions of KRW. With MyID 2.0, implementation costs are reduced by over 90%, while agencies can integrate blockchain functions instantly into administrative services without custom development.

Expanding Use Cases Across Public Services

MyID 2.0 can be easily applied to a wide range of public digital identity use cases — including citizen ID cards, digital certificates, access control systems, and employee credentials.
Its administrator-friendly interface and API-based architecture allow non-technical managers to configure and deploy blockchain features seamlessly.

By adopting MyID 2.0, local governments and public institutions can expect significant benefits in service enhancement, data integrity, streamlined administration, and automated authentication, contributing to the broader digital transformation of public services.
“Through CSAP certification, PARAMETA has established a trusted foundation for delivering secure and reliable blockchain services across government agencies,”
said Jonghyup Kim, CEO of PARAMETA Corp.
“We will continue to build exemplary public platforms powered by DID and Web3 data technologies, setting new standards for both domestic and global digital identity ecosystems.”
