PARAMETA and YOUHA Collaborate to Build a Content Fractional Investment Platform Using STOs

March 21, 2023, Seoul — Web3 Enabler PARAMETA (formerly ICONLOOP, CEO JH Kim) is collaborating with YOUHA, Korea's first and largest brokerage platform for YouTube creator advertising funding, to build a content fractional investment platform.

The platform PARAMETA and YOUHA plan to develop jointly will enable fractional investment across a wide range of content — YouTube, dramas, variety shows, webtoons, performances, exhibitions, and entertainers.

With the Financial Services Commission publishing its STO guidelines (a framework for regulating security token issuance and distribution) in February, fractional investment platforms are expected to take off in earnest. Against that backdrop, the content fractional investment platform PARAMETA and YOUHA will introduce is likewise expected to offer individuals a range of investment opportunities.

In this collaboration, PARAMETA will contribute PARAMETA S (STO as a Service), which provides the full range of security token technology via APIs, while YOUHA will bring its infrastructure and expertise in brokering YouTube content advertising funding to the new content fractional investment platform.

YOUHA began by brokering advertising funding for YouTube creators' video content and has since expanded its scope to YouTube content from media companies including CJ ENM and JTBC. On that basis, it plans to extend fractional investment beyond YouTube content to dramas, variety shows, webtoons, films, exhibitions, performances, entertainers, and more.
