ICONLOOP Launches Campaign Offering VisitMe Electronic Guestbook Service Free of Charge Until COVID-19 Ends

The VisitMe electronic guestbook service that ICONLOOP is providing free of charge is a QR-based electronic registry service that digitizes the visitor logs businesses have until now filled in by hand. Visitors can record their entry simply by scanning a QR code posted at the venue, with no separate app installation required. Because each visitor uses their own mobile device rather than a shared paper log, there is no concern about personal information being exposed to other visitors, and no need to share pens or other potential vectors of infection. The digitized entry records also allow a fast and accurate response if a confirmed case occurs, making the service well suited to the stricter entry-screening measures introduced in response to COVID-19.

ICONLOOP plans to provide the VisitMe electronic guestbook service free of charge to every building and business in Korea that applies for it, until COVID-19 has been brought to an end domestically. The campaign is expected to be particularly helpful to smaller businesses that find it difficult to respond quickly to quarantine guidelines such as the recommendation to maintain visitor entry logs.

The VisitMe electronic guestbook service is already in use at convenience stores, cafés, and clinics in major Seoul commercial districts such as Gangnam, Apgujeong, and Hongdae as well as in the Gyeonggi region, including GS25 Uijeong Reshville, FIESTA7, Ire Alchan Orthopedic Clinic, Leaju Seoul Dermatology Clinic, and Zell Plastic Surgery Clinic.
