ICONLOOP Signs MOU with Saramin HR to Build a Blockchain-Based HR and Recruitment Ecosystem
The agreement was reached with the aim of increasing customer value at Saramin through broof, ICONLOOP's blockchain certificate issuance and management service, and MyID, its digital identity verification platform, and ultimately of building a blockchain-based digital ID ecosystem together.
Under the agreement, applicants using Saramin to apply for jobs will be able to submit blockchain certificates issued through broof. Even without a certificate issued through broof, an applicant can photograph and upload a certificate using a MyID-based app, and the identity of the person submitting it is then verified on the blockchain. For hiring companies, the tamper-proof nature of blockchain means there is no need to separately confirm whether a submitted certificate is genuine.
A range of educational institutions and companies, including POSTECH and the Korea Productivity Center, already use broof to issue blockchain certificates, and this agreement with Saramin is expected to make submitting certificates and verifying document authenticity considerably simpler for users and companies alike. With many more educational institutions and companies preparing to issue blockchain certificates through broof, the creation of a blockchain-based HR and recruitment ecosystem is set to gain further momentum.
