PARAMETA has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with HARA, an Indonesian digital data infrastructure company.

The agreement is the first signal of PARAMETA taking the Web3 infrastructure capability it built at home and expanding it in earnest into Indonesia and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) market.

Who is HARA?

HARA is a blockchain company running proven real-world data infrastructure and DID-based digital identity solutions in Indonesia.

It has spent years connecting real-world data from agriculture, forestry, and the halal industry — farmer identity, land records, production history, supply chain traceability — into digital infrastructure, and has more recently widened its scope into digital finance, trade, asset tokenization, and remittance.

What the two companies will do together

  • Joint research and development on authentication systems built on DID and on-chain KYC
  • Cooperation on stablecoin-based cross-border payment and settlement infrastructure
  • Discovery of regulation-friendly asset tokenization and industry-specific use cases across finance, trade, and remittance

Who brings what

PARAMETA — Web3 infrastructure technology including stablecoin infrastructure, wallets, on-chain compliance, DID, and on-chain KYC, plus institutional partnerships and ecosystem expansion in Korea

HARA — regulatory and market insight across Indonesia and APAC, local business development, sandbox participation, and other localization work

As a first step, the two will jointly identify the highest-priority use cases and review their business, technical, and regulatory feasibility together. By sharing technology and case experience they plan to secure interoperability and design a joint solution model that can be deployed in both markets at once.

This MOU is the starting point for taking Web3 infrastructure proven in Korea into global markets in earnest. Beginning with HARA, we intend to widen collaboration on DID, stablecoins, and asset tokenization across Indonesia and APAC.

Pairing HARA's proven real-world data, traceability, and decentralized identity infrastructure with PARAMETA's Web3 capability makes practical use cases possible — on-chain KYC, cross-border payments, stablecoin settlement, asset tokenization. It should reduce friction in cross-border transactions and widen financial access between Indonesia and Korea.

PARAMETA has demonstrated its Web3 infrastructure capability while working with international organizations and global partners, including a presentation of an on-chain KYC standard model for cross-border transactions at a bond forum hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The HARA agreement is the first case of carrying that global capability through to real business expansion in Indonesia and APAC.
