PARAMETA (formerly ICONLOOP) is joining the 2024 Blockchain Competition, BEST Challenge, as a partner company.
PARAMETA is taking part as a partner company in the 2024 Blockchain Competition <BEST Challenge>, run by the Ministry of Science and ICT (hereafter MSIT) and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (hereafter KISA).
BEST: Blockchain & ESG Service & Finance Technology
Held to uncover innovative blockchain and fintech technologies, this year's competition runs in two tracks:
▲(Track ①) the Blockchain Ideathon, where you pitch an innovative service idea built on blockchain technology
▲(Track ②) the Blockchain ESG Hackathon, where you develop a blockchain service that can solve an ESG problem.
Anyone with an interest in blockchain can enter — on your own or in a team of up to five — and applications are accepted online from June 14 to July 23.
During the application and competition period, experts from PARAMETA and the other partner companies will run preparatory training and mentoring for participants. The 20 teams selected after the final presentation round will receive awards (the MSIT Minister's Award, the KISA President's Award, sponsor awards, and others) along with prize money totaling KRW 29 million.
