Blockchain meets AI - a partnership aimed at solving ownership and copyright in generative AI
PARAMETA has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Pebblous, a company specializing in AI data quality assessment and synthetic data generation, to build and grow a blockchain-based ecosystem for distributing AI models.
The agreement pairs blockchain with AI to address the ownership and copyright disputes that have become a flashpoint around today's generative AI models - and, through that, to build an AI model distribution ecosystem people can trust.
Under the partnership, PARAMETA will develop the blockchain technology for AI model distribution and build the platform, while Pebblous will develop and apply the security technology that protects the copyright of AI training data and models. On that foundation, the two companies aim to build an ecosystem where the creators of AI models can directly manage, control, and distribute what they have made.
Pebblous has been securing core technology and patents with the goal of building a Web3-based ecosystem for data creators. Through this partnership with PARAMETA, the company plans to expand its business into copyright protection not only for data but for artificial intelligence models as well.
