PARAMETA joins the 2023 Blockchain & Fintech Competition <BEST Challenge> as a partner company
PARAMETA is taking part as a partner company in the 2023 Blockchain & Fintech Competition <BEST Challenge>, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
BEST: Blockchain & ESG Service & Finance Technology
The competition is designed to surface innovative blockchain and fintech technology, and it runs across three separate tracks: ▲(Track ①) the Alternative Data Fintech Ideathon, where participants propose fintech service ideas built on alternative data such as non-financial data; ▲(Track ②) the Blockchain Hard Problems Challenge, which asks for solutions to the problems that come up in applied blockchain services like STOs and NFTs; and ▲(Track ③) the Blockchain and Fintech ESG Service Competition, which looks for ways to apply ESG through blockchain and fintech technology.
Anyone interested in blockchain and fintech can enter — individuals or small and medium-sized businesses, in teams of up to five — and online applications are open until July 17. During the application and competition periods, experts from PARAMETA and the other partner companies will run advance training and mentoring for participants. The 28 teams selected through the final presentation review will receive awards (28 in total, including the MSIT Minister's Award, the KISA President's Award, and partner company CEO awards) along with prize money totaling KRW 45.5 million.
