Perme and Motiv Intelligence join hands on a Web3 data-based advertising ecosystem
Perme, the Web3 Data Protocol that PARAMETA is co-developing through a strategic partnership with CIZION, the company behind LiveRe — Asia's largest social commenting platform — has signed a business agreement with programmatic ad tech company Motiv Intelligence to build and grow a Web3 data-based advertising ecosystem. Here is the coverage.

Perme is a Web3 data protocol that uses DID and PDS-based storage to guarantee that users own their own data — profiles, content, behavioral data and more — and to let them distribute and trade that data easily under their own sovereignty. It is built with PARAMETA Service: PARAMETA W (Wallet as a Service), PARAMETA T (Token Management as a Service), and PARAMETA N (NFT as a Service).
Perme is a Web3 Data Protocol that uses DID and PDS-based storage to guarantee that users own their own data — profiles, content, behavioral data and more — and to let them distribute and trade that data easily under their own sovereignty. The name "Perme" comes from the Latin for "by myself," carrying the message that data sovereignty belongs to the user, who manages and controls their own data. The technology underneath Perme is PARAMETA W / T / N, from Web3 Enabler PARAMETA.

Under this collaboration, Perme will develop the protocol for a Web3 data distribution ecosystem while focusing on better advertising products through useful, secure data distribution technology and the policies that govern it.
Motiv Intelligence, Perme's partner in the effort, brings ad tech expertise and know-how backed by connections to more DMPs (Data Management Platforms) than any other company in Korea. It will explore ways to put Web3 data to work in advertising, support protocol development and policy-making, and cooperate on the marketing and sales side to bring the result to market.
Motiv Intelligence, led by CEO Junmo Yang, is an ad tech specialist that develops and operates a DSP (Demand Side Platform), an ADX (AD eXchange), and a DMP (Data Management Platform) built on its own programmatic advertising technology. It won the grand prize in the ad tech category at the 2022 Korea Digital Advertising Awards and is currently preparing for an IPO.
Beyond this agreement, the two sides plan to keep identifying areas for cooperation that will grow and expand the Web3 data-based advertising ecosystem, and to continue collaborating across a range of domains.
