An article has been published that gathers up PARAMETA's recent moves — the security token (ST) business in particular — and presents the company as a blockchain STO name to watch. We are sharing it here.
PARAMETA enters fractional investment directly — a strategy to spread its STO solution
⑥ Joint ventures begin on fractional investment platforms for content and classic cars, and the company joins a financial-industry alliance
[Editor's note]
With the institutionalization of security token offerings (STO), blockchain technology companies are eyeing the opportunity, each aiming to grow the STO market in partnership with brokerages, fractional investment platforms, and others. This series looks at the strategies and distinguishing traits of the blockchain companies handed the job of laying the market's foundations.
Blockchain technology company PARAMETA (formerly ICONLOOP) is extending its reach into security tokens (ST). When it changed its name this year, the company said it planned to win as customers the businesses that want to adopt Web3. ST is part of that same Web3 B2B business.
PARAMETA is signing collaborations with a number of companies and plans to jointly develop fractional investment platforms. It has also joined an STO alliance formed by financial companies. The goal is to create STO success stories itself, and thereby cement the position of its own STO solution, PARAMETA S.
◇ Building a YouTube content fractional investment platform — taking PARAMETA S to market
PARAMETA recently announced that it is building a content fractional investment platform with YOUHA. YOUHA runs Korea's largest advertising brokerage platform for YouTube creators, providing information such as a YouTuber's subscriber count, average views per ad video, and expected ad rates. Its core service is connecting advertisers with the YouTube channels that fit their budget and product.
Together with YOUHA, PARAMETA is building a platform for fractional investment in content of many kinds — YouTube, drama, webtoons, entertainment shows, performances, and exhibitions. Ownership of a produced work can be split among many holders, with the profits it generates shared according to each stake.

The two companies have divided the work between them. YOUHA will fold the know-how it built brokering YouTube advertising into the fractional investment platform. Having recently expanded into running corporate YouTube channels on clients' behalf, it can help with content production as well. PARAMETA supplies the technology the platform is built on, using its enterprise STO solution, PARAMETA S.
This content fractional investment platform will make or break the STO business PARAMETA is pursuing. When it changed its name this year, PARAMETA set a goal of expanding its enterprise solution business, and the ST market is one of the targets.
PARAMETA's strategy is to build ST-related services directly through many collaborations, and on that basis to sell its own solution, PARAMETA S. PARAMETA S delivers the blockchain and all the other technology needed to issue STs, provided through application programming interfaces (APIs).
◇ Jointly developed ST platforms on the way — the goal is to unveil them all within the year
PARAMETA has been highly active in entering the ST market. In the middle of this month it agreed to build a mobility fractional investment and membership NFT platform with SPITZEN, an automotive maintenance and tuning company, and PIPELINE, a Web3 accelerator. The three companies plan to jointly develop a platform called SPITZEN Web3, offering classic car fractional investment together with membership NFTs.
Last month it also signed a business agreement with PSX, the operator of Seoul Exchange, the unlisted stock trading platform. Joint development of an STO platform is the core of that agreement. Seoul Exchange made STO one of its main business lines starting last year, and carried out Korea's first STO subscription offering.

Seoul Exchange has been knocking on the door of this market steadily, since before ST regulations were in place. Having run Korea's first STO subscription offering in the second half of last year, it is a company with a strong grasp of the market.
PARAMETA and Seoul Exchange are working to connect STs issued using PARAMETA's blockchain to the Seoul Exchange platform. It is a win-win: PARAMETA widens the use of its own blockchain, and Seoul Exchange builds an over-the-counter distribution channel for STs.
Both companies are also taking part in the STO Vision Group established by NH Investment & Securities. That group also includes fractional investment operators such as TogetherArt and Treasurer, along with asset valuation firms such as Korea Ratings.
The company says it is aggressively adding partners at present, pursuing a range of joint ventures at the same time, and expects to be able to introduce the businesses it has prepared one after another within the year.
