PARAMETA and GREENERY join forces on carbon credit fractional investment
PARAMETA is partnering with GREENERY, the operator of POPLE — Korea's first trading platform for voluntary carbon reduction credits — to build a fractional investment platform for carbon credits and to help grow the voluntary carbon market.
To build the platform, PARAMETA and GREENERY will collaborate on the infrastructure required to issue and distribute security tokens (STO) and pursue joint technology research. Carbon credit investment has long been hard for individuals to access; by applying STO to that market, the two companies expect the platform to create opportunities for far more participants to help bring the carbon-neutral era closer.
The platform will be developed jointly on the back of PARAMETA S (STO as a Service), which delivers the full stack of security token technology through APIs, and GREENERY's technology and know-how in carbon neutrality.
GREENERY provides a range of carbon neutrality solutions. Through POPLE, Korea's first trading platform for voluntary carbon reduction credits, it supports the carbon-neutral efforts of both companies and individuals while leading the way in spreading a culture of investment in new carbon-neutral technologies.
