PARAMETA and CIZION are building a Web3 data protocol called Perme.
PARAMETA has signed a strategic partnership with CIZION, the company behind LiveRe, Asia's largest social commenting platform, to build a Web3 data protocol called Perme. The teaser site went live today.
Perme, the protocol the partnership will build, uses blockchain storage based on DID (Decentralized Identifier) and PDS (Personal Data Store) to guarantee that users own their own data — profiles, content, behavioral data and more — and to let them distribute and trade it easily under their own sovereignty. The name Perme comes from the Latin for "by myself", carrying the message that data sovereignty belongs back in the hands of users, who can then manage and control their data themselves.
Centered on DID-based identity verification, the two companies will use PARAMETA's own layer 2 solutions — Vault (a private key system), BFS (Blockchain File System, decentralized storage made available to smart contracts on the blockchain), PDS and others — to deliver user-centric decentralized privacy and build out a Web3 data ecosystem. A unified interface is also planned, opening the door to businesses across many categories.
In this partnership, PARAMETA supports the technical development and construction of Perme with PARAMETA W (Wallet as a Service), PARAMETA T (Token Management as a Service) and PARAMETA N (NFT as a Service), drawn from the recently unveiled PARAMETA Service.

CIZION plans to apply Perme to LiveRe — a social commenting solution installed on some 50,000 sites worldwide with a monthly active user count of one million — creating the first case of Web3 transformation through the Perme protocol.
