PARAMETA has finished building the province's public MyData platform, Moiso Gyeongsangbuk-do.
PARAMETA has completed the build of Moiso Gyeongsangbuk-do, the province's public MyData platform, which opened to the public this month. Moiso Gyeongsangbuk-do is the result of the Gyeongsangbuk-do digital identity verification MyData platform project that PARAMETA announced winning last July.
Moiso Gyeongsangbuk-do is built so that residents — the subjects of the data public institutions hold — can take the lead in using their own administrative information and access public services quickly and easily. The main deliverables were ▲development of the public MyData platform (for civil servants) and app (for residents) ▲issuance of a blockchain-based digital Gyeongbuk resident card ▲non-face-to-face subsidy applications and payments ▲a pilot tourism service for the public ▲integration with public platforms.
As the sole implementing organization for the Moiso Gyeongsangbuk-do project, PARAMETA applied its blockchain DID (Decentralized Identifier) identity verification platform MyID to the issuance of digital Gyeongbuk resident cards and Happiness Cards, delivering a step change in both the security and the simplicity of identity verification.
The platform draws on public MyData (the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's bundled service*) to issue resident cards to Gyeongbuk residents and Happiness Cards to residents of other cities and provinces. With blockchain DID-based resident cards and Happiness Cards, people can apply for and receive farming and fishing allowances, use childcare services for sick children and access other non-face-to-face administrative services safely and easily, without worrying about personal data leaks — and they can receive provincial news as well.
* Only the information needed to provide a specific service is extracted from what administrative agencies hold, then bundled together and provided as a single set of data.
After Woori-do (formerly Nayana), Gangwon Province's integrated service platform, we are glad to bring our DID technology to Moiso Gyeongsangbuk-do as well and to help make local government services safer and more convenient.
