The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has approved DID (Decentralized ID) as a new web standard.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has approved DID (Decentralized ID) as a new web standard. It is the first identifier the W3C has adopted as a standard since the URL.
