SPERA has a new name: HAVAH. The brand site is live today.
SPERA — the blockchain project ICONLOOP, the ICON Foundation and 2bytes have been developing together — has settled on HAVAH as its service name, and its brand site went live today, June 3.
Alongside the HAVAH brand site, the first interchain NFT service blockchain game, Crypto Gears, was also revealed. Crypto Gears is in development at 2bytes, a global game service startup, and is planned as a P2G (Play to Get) title that moves past the gameplay limits of existing P2E (Play to Earn) games.
HAVAH aims to be an NFT community portal and playground, and ultimately a comprehensive interchain entertainment space. It expands SPERA, previously an interchain NFT-based game platform, to offer not only games but social and financial services as well. To make that work, ICONLOOP is drawing on its blockchain platform and interchain technology to connect NFTs issued on heterogeneous blockchains and secure interoperability, while supporting the dApp ecosystem, issuing the platform coin, and building out and supporting governance.
Because HAVAH uses an interchain NFT transfer protocol, an NFT can be standardized and used regardless of which blockchain originally issued it. That goes beyond the usual situation where an NFT is only usable on one specific chain, and we expect users will be able to do far more with the NFTs they hold once they bring them to HAVAH.
