CHANGeUP GROUND Pohang — the largest incubation center in the region, connecting Korea to the world.
CHANGeUP GROUND, run by POSCO to nurture venture companies,
is built on ICONLOOP's blockchain DID technology.
This DID-based integrated identity verification system runs across the whole of CHANGeUP GROUND.
Through the dedicated CHANGeUP GROUND app, resident companies and their staff prove who they are using their affiliation and other credentials,
then use the facilities and services — staying in control of their own data the whole time.
So we went down there ourselves to see how convenient the DID-based system really is. :)
First, head to Google Play or the Apple App Store
and install the CHANGeUP GROUND smart office and POSCO satellite office access app.
- ▷ Staff and visitor access management and control
- ▷ Office entry
- ▷ Copier and printer use
- ▷ Booking and using meeting rooms, video editing rooms and other facilities
- ▷ Booking and using the sleep cubes (Backpacker)
- ▷ Parking
- Open the app, tap Verify Member,
- and once you confirm your identity, a DID member card is issued.
- With that DID member card,
- you can use all sorts of facilities and services
- inside CHANGeUP GROUND, like this ▶
Tap the DID member card, hold your phone to the reader, and the door opens.
Getting into your office works exactly the same way — just tap your phone.
Copying and printing run through the same app.
Hold your phone to the reader next to the multifunction printer and you are good to go.
- The app is also used to book meeting rooms, video editing rooms and other spaces.
- Pick the space and time you want and make the booking,
- then at that time, tap your phone on the reader outside the meeting room or editing room and walk in.
- CHANGeUP GROUND has sleep cubes called Backpacker for taking a break,
- and these are booked through the app as well.
- Your DID member card gets you into the cube, just like everywhere else.
A visiting-vehicle lookup feature makes the parking lot easy to use too.
On top of that, statistics and management features make it easy to track and manage resident company status, visitor traffic, facility usage, and residency contracts.
