A three-way agreement to support safe tourism in Jeju

ICONLOOP has signed a business agreement with the Jeju Tourism Association (the Association) and the Jeju Institute of Industry-Academia Convergence (the Institute) to support safe tourism linked to COVID-19 vaccination credentials.
At the three-way signing ceremony held on December 21 at the Jeju Business Center, ICONLOOP, the Association, and the Institute agreed to cooperate actively in making safe tourism a reality on the island, using ICONLOOP's blockchain DID identity verification service, Zzeung.

Zzeung is an identity verification app that applies DID (Decentralized Identifier) technology to maximize both privacy protection and user convenience. Like Jeju Safe Code, which ICONLOOP developed jointly with Jeju Self-Governing Province, it provides entry verification services such as electronic entry registers and proof of vaccination. Through this agreement, ICONLOOP plans to work closely with the Association and the Institute to develop and deliver additional services that improve the visitor experience and the business environment for tourism operators.

Alongside Jeju Safe Code, which has firmly established itself as the island's tourism quarantine system, Zzeung is expected to play an important part in improving the visitor experience and advancing Jeju's tourism industry. ICONLOOP will do its utmost to work with the Association and the Institute toward growth on all sides.
