A Startup Policy Talk with presidential candidate Yoon Suk-yeol was held at the ICONLOOP lounge.

Today, the 2nd, the ICONLOOP lounge hosted a Startup Policy Talk with People Power Party presidential candidate Yoon Suk-yeol. Organized by the Korea Startup Forum (KSF), the event followed the November 8 Startup Policy Talk with Democratic Party of Korea presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, and was set up to propose a direction for startup policy to the candidates and carry the industry's voice directly to them.
ICONLOOP CEO JH Kim was among the roughly 50 attendees, who included Viva Republica CEO Lee Seung-gun and founders from Wizdome, PSX, Vdream, Autonomous a2z, Whatssub and Deeply, along with People Power Party candidate Yoon Suk-yeol and National Assembly member Lee Young - all there to talk about the startup ecosystem.

Kim drew considerable attention on the day, introducing the blockchain technology and projects ICONLOOP is currently working on while sharing views and proposals on the regulatory sandbox as it applies to the business.

The event also produced something attendees were keen on: an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) of a handwritten message and signature from candidate Yoon, issued through CRAFT, the NFT marketplace built on the ICON network. An NFT is a unit of data stored on a blockchain - a unique, non-interchangeable token that uses blockchain technology to prove a digital asset is the one and only original.

Today's Startup Policy Talk was a valuable chance to share the concerns of startups attempting new things and taking on new challenges, and to look at where things could improve. ICONLOOP will keep cooperating and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders - government, public institutions, companies - so that blockchain becomes a technology inside everyday life.
