Zzeung picked as a 2020 IT Innovation Award product
How is your 2020 wrapping up, now that so little of it is left?
With 2021 just around the corner, Zzeung, ICONLOOP's DID identity verification service, has been selected as a 2020 IT Innovation Award product by Digital Daily.
Every December for the fifteen years since its founding, <Digital Daily> has picked the innovative IT products that drew attention that year in each field of the IT industry. Three to five products are chosen per field, based on the reputation they have earned in the market combined with the views of the publication's specialist reporters. What makes the awards meaningful is that they weigh technical innovation as highly as commercial factors such as sales performance. They also cast a wide net over products that have yet to win much market attention but reflect the deeper currents of the times.
Since MyID was designated an Innovative Financial Service by the Financial Services Commission last year, Zzeung has commercialized the first DID in Korea's financial sector, and within about a month of launch it climbed to No. 2 on the Apple App Store's finance category chart and No. 5 across all apps. More recently it has widened its reach again through Jeju Safe Code, Jeju Province's tourism quarantine system for tracing COVID-19 cases.
