Three months in, VisitMe has crossed 1,000 venues and 100,000 users.

VisitMe (www.visitme.app), ICONLOOP's QR-based electronic visitor log service, has passed 1,000 installed venues and 100,000 users just three months after its launch.

The VisitMe electronic visitor log is a QR-based service that digitizes the handwritten visitor registers venues have been keeping to help trace the movements of confirmed cases. Visitors simply scan a QR code placed at the venue to check themselves in, so no extra equipment or staff is needed to scan anything. The QR code is supplied when you sign up, which sharply lowers the barrier to adopting it.

ICONLOOP is offering the VisitMe electronic visitor log free of charge as part of the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, and three months on it is spreading fast: user numbers have reached 100,000 and more than 1,000 venues have applied to adopt the service.

Well-known cafe and restaurant franchises such as #PaulBassett, #MomsTouch, #PizzaEtang and #Obbadak (Oven Baked Chicken) have rolled the VisitMe electronic visitor log out across all of their stores and are seeing first-hand what sets it apart from other electronic visitor logs. Beyond those, the service has been adopted and is being actively used at sports facilities including Seoul World Cup Stadium, large hotels such as the #ConradHotel and #HiltonHotel, shared #offices, #churches, #hospitals, convenience stores and many other kinds of venues.

The biggest strength of the VisitMe electronic visitor log is that it can be used with options tailored to the character of each venue. For places that draw an unspecified stream of visitors, such as cafes, restaurants and convenience stores, it offers simple check-in with no app to install at all: scan the QR code, enter your personal details, and you are verified. For facilities where the same visitors come and go repeatedly, such as churches, hospitals and academies, visitor details can be entered in advance through the VisitMe app, so a single QR code scan checks the visitor in quickly and conveniently with no further verification steps.

And unlike a handwritten register, everyone uses their own phone, so there is no worry about one visitor's personal data being exposed to another, and no shared pens or other objects to pass infection along. Because the entry history is digital, any confirmed case can be responded to quickly and accurately.

More recently, ICONLOOP teamed up with MyID Alliance partner Suprema (www.supremainc.com) to introduce a version of the VisitMe electronic visitor log that connects to a smart fever-screening device, delivering safe #visitverification management alongside precise mask-wearing detection and body-temperature measurement at the same time. With this integrated model, the visitor's body temperature and mask-wearing status, measured by a top-spec fever screener, are entered into the VisitMe electronic visitor log automatically.

You can apply for free support for the service at the VisitMe electronic visitor log site (www.visitme.app/guestbook).
