Introducing Zzeung
The story behind Zzeung
- Zzeung was created by the people at ICONLOOP, who dream of a world where
- everyone can prove and protect their own identity for themselves,
- rather than handing their information over to someone else to manage.
- So here is how Zzeung came to be. :)
- Where do the name and the logo come from?
- Proving who you are takes all kinds of ID — a resident registration card, a driver's license, a student ID —
- plus countless certificates: diplomas, employment verification letters, certificates of completion.
- ICONLOOP gathered up all of those proofs, called jeung in Korean, and doubled the sound into a single name: Zzeung.
- The logo was designed to be understood at a glance, as a direct visualization of the brand name itself.
- The circle motif stands for True/Proof,
- and where the circle meets the horizontal bar it becomes a Face that stands for me,
- while at the same time carrying the symbolism of a planet in space, standing for the Future.
Zzeung, a new way to prove who you are, carries a goal — to lead the verification services of the future —
along with a philosophy and a determination: to build a MyID world where you protect and prove your own information yourself.
KIO, Your Zzeung Helper
- Meet KIO, the helper that guides you through the Zzeung service.
- The name came from a small discovery: turn the Korean word jeung on its side and it reads KIO.
